Chinese smartphones to the African market
Gone are the days when Chinese
smartphone manufacturers were
confined to their domestic market.
Henceforth, they no longer hesitate to
leave the empire of the middle to
go to the conquest of new markets,
including Africa. Focus on these
brands that all feed the ambition
of becoming number 2 in africa behind
Samsung.
The African market is very attractive
for smartphone manufacturers. If
Samsung remains the undisputed leader,
we have witnessed a surge of Chinese
brands in recent years. Huawei is
clearly the most well-known brand,
but for some time we have to
rely on the presence of other
manufacturers who try to make a
name in the kingdom.
Oppo
After Huawei, Oppo is probably the
most famous Chinese brand in
Morocco. Created 8 years ago, Oppo
has seen an astounding rise in
its number four place of smartphone
sales behind Samsung, Apple and Huawei.
The company has distinguished itself
by offering equipment with excellent
design and innovative technologies,
particularly in the field of photography,
all at competitive prices.
Established in the kingdom since 2015,
Oppo was quick to seduce Moroccan consumers.
As in other markets where he is present,
he decided to adopt a local strategy.
In Morocco, Oppo relies on a network of
800 resellers and has more than
400 facilitators deployed in
the main points of sale, including
in the informal markets.
